The Sierra Madre stretches 540 kilometres across Luzon, sheltering one of the Philippines’ last great forests — where Philippine Eagles nest, ancient dipterocarps rise above the canopy, and rivers begin their journey to sustain millions downstream.

But the Sierra Madre has been disappearing for decades. Degraded grasslands like these do not recover on their own. Without active restoration, they stay broken for generations.

Project Sierra Verde exists to reverse that.
